Winter Park has another dining option today and the options just keep getting better and better. Kona Grill, now open, offers a modern, American take on Pacific rim dishes, including a complete sushi bar and several signature drinks.Located in the new Lakeside Crossing shopping center across from Hillstone and near the recently opened Bulla and Chuy's. This is the first Kona Grill in Central Florida, and the fourth in the state.
I stopped in for a media preview Saturday, and I loved all the dishes I sampled, but the standout was surely the miso-sake sea bass. There's a nice patio out front, but it was rather loud with the traffic whizzing by on 17-92. I'm looking forward to returning to sample more offerings.
