Yes, National Brisket Day is a thing. Got plans?

4 Rivers Smokehouse, home to more than 4.5 million pounds of brisket sales since opening in 2009, will celebrate National Brisket Day on Saturday, May 28.

As the Founding Father” of Orlando’s award-winning brisket, Chef/owner John Rivers will celebrate the meat-enthusiast’s holiday as the brands declaration of independence with a Red, White and Brisket day-themed celebration.

For one day only, guests can enjoy two special menu items available at 4 Rivers locations throughout the state. 4 Rivers’ signature 18-hour, Smoked Angus Brisket will be featured in a Chili Cheese Brisket Burger for just $7.99, and the restaurant also will be serving up Chili Cheese Fries for $4.99.
