Chef and Brewer pairings announced for Taste of Florida Festival May 15th at East End Market

A collection of Florida’s finest chefs and brewers will gather at East End Market on Sunday, May 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for Local Roots’ First Annual Taste of Florida Festival. Showcasing beer and cuisine exclusively from the Sunshine State, Taste of Florida will feature 12 stations, each pairing a brewer’s special creation with a chef’s dish.

The lineup for Taste of Florida features a variety of award-winning breweries and chefs. The stations will pair the following restaurant and breweries:

· AlFresco, Winter Garden: Turnip Croquettes, Roasted Cauliflower, Rainbow Carrots, Orange & Beer Glaze, Hourglass Brewery, Longwood: MikeChuck American Pale Ale

· Citrus Restaurant, Orlando: Smoked Alligator Ribs, Datil-Kumquat Bbq, Cabbage and Carrot Slaw, Jdub’s Brewing Company, Sarasota: Poolside Kolsch

· DIRT, Eat Clean, Miami: Sticky Kumquat Almond Cake, Whipped Goat Cheese Cream, Honey, MIA Brewing, Doral: Domino Pilsner

· Goblin Market, Mount Dora: Fresh Florida Ceviche, Swamphead Brewery, Gainesville: Cottonmouth Belgian Witbier

In addition to craft beer and cuisine, Taste of Florida will also have live music from local musicians.
