I'm judging a BBQ competition in Oviedo May 27th -- come eat some "Q" with me and support Helping Hands

Normally, I don't like to judge. But since we're talking BBQ, I'll make an exception. Come check out my judging skills, enjoy some awesome "Q" and show your support for Helping Hands at the Central Florida BBQ Blowout in Oviedo on May 27th.

Details: The Kid-Que Competition at Central Florida's BBQ Blowout on May 27th at Oviedo Mall will team up local kids and professional pit masters in an epic cooking competition. The Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce (OWSRCC) and Helpful Hands, a local non-profit organization, have partnered to produce the 4th Annual Central Florida's BBQ Blowout presented by Sonny's BBQ.

Kids in the competition are sponsored by local businesses. Sponsors include Dentistry for Children, The Zoo Health Club, RE/MAX Optima, Orlando Orthopaedic, Dignity Memorial, Republic Services, Jason Brodeur, Oviedo Eye Care and Jean Arthur Associates.

Judges for the Kid-Que include Jim Payne, award-winning journalist with WESH 2 News; Dominic Persampiere, Mayor of Oviedo; James Emerson, Eating Orlando food blogger; Cindy Drago, Oviedo Councilwoman; Lauren Delgado, Orlando Sentinel food blogger; and Regina Bereswill, founder of Helpful Hands.
