Run/Walk/Roll for a great cause and eat free chicken

Huey Magoo’s hosts Operation Giveback 5K/10K Run/Walk/Roll Sign-up Night

In efforts to raise awareness for the May 12 Operation Giveback 5K/10K Run/Walk/Roll, Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders (www.HueyMagoos.com) will be hosting a sign up event on the evening of Monday, March 26th at its 4293 Alafaya Trail location.  Each individual who signs up for the race between 5pm and 10pm that night will receive a voucher for a free Snack Plate, consisting of chicken tenders, french fries, Texas toast, and dipping sauce.  The vouchers will be valid for a return visit on or after April 2.

Taking place on a Monday, the sign-up event coincides with the recurring Huey Magoo’s Family Night, during which children under 10 receive one free kids meal for each paid adult meal.

Sammy Siciliano, Manager of the Huey Magoo’s UCF location, said of the sign-up night; “This is our second year supporting the Operation Giveback Run/Walk/Roll, and we couldn’t be more proud to help out.  I can think of no greater cause than supporting our brave service men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.  I encourage everyone to come out to Huey Magoo’s on the night of Monday, 3/26, sign up for the race, and claim your free meal voucher!”

The Operation Giveback 5K/10K Run/Walk/Roll takes place on May 12 at the beautiful campus of the University of Central Florida.  The event benefits military-related charities, including Iraq Star, OGB Section 60, and the Wounded Warrior Project.  With individual, team, and kids race options, this event offers something for everyone and is a great way to show support to our wounded service men and women.
