This is it. This is the one poll everybody’s been asking for. No more guessing. No more debating. It’s time to find out, once and for all, who serves the best burger in Orlando?
I've reviewed several of the nominated restaurants previously. Some burgers I liked more than others, but there's not a bad burger on the list. No one can say Orlando doesn't have some great burger joints! (Click on a name below to visit a prior Eating Orlando review or the restauran't website)
The nominees based on suggestions from @eatingorlando followers on Twitter:
Cheeburger Cheeburger (Orlando, Sanford)
Hamburger Mary’s (Downtown Orlando)
Johnny’s Fillin’ Station (SoDo)
Tap Room at Dubsdread (College Park)
Five Guys Burgers and Fries (10 area locations)
Graffiti Junktion (Thornton Park)
Ravenous Pig (Winter Park)
Sam Snead’s Tavern (Maitland)
Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville (Universal CityWalk)
Morgan’s Burger Bistro (Sanford)
There’s a whole lot of beef between these 10 nominees. And I’m not talking meat - I’m talking bragging rights. Somebody on this list serves the best hamburger in Orlando and the Central Florida area. It’s time to find out who. See the side bar to vote, and let’s settle this once and for all.
The Best Burger in Orlando Poll closes November 30th. As always, the winner will be reviewed on the blog, and I’ll let you know if I agree with the results or not.
Ravenous Pig...hands down when you add the truffle fries!
ReplyDeletei don't know how i feel about hamburger mary's food
ReplyDeleteIs the Bob's Big Boy still open in Sanford?
ReplyDeleteBurger Beast, Last time I drove by Big Boy was still open.
ReplyDeleteHands down, Morgan's Burger Bistro serves the best burger I've ever had...ever! I will be going there once again this coming Friday, taking some coworkers, converting them to believers!
ReplyDeleteI imagine 5 guys is leading just based on being a chain, but I'll tell you, i've eaten at both and yesterday I had the best burger I've ever had a Morgan's. I urge eveyone to try it out and then vote!
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, yes, the Big Boy in Sanford is still open.
Five guys is one of the best burgers I have had but I have not tried all of these. Want to try the ravenous pig for sure.
ReplyDeletei have been dissapointed with five guys as of late, kind of inconsistent
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried all those other places, so for now my vote goes to Five Guys
ReplyDeleteRavenous Pig has my vote!! But you have to upgrade to the ribeye pub burger, it’s not always available but if it is GET IT!
ReplyDeleteThe Ravenous Pig Pub Burger is without question the best burger in the entire World.....not just Orlando. If you haven't tried it, you have no idea how freaking unreal it is....For #2....5 Guys. #3 Jimmy Buffet's. #4 The Clubhouse.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry it took so long for me to find this poll, but Morgan's has to be the best burger on the menu. Though The Pig's burger is amazing, I would qualify the best as 1)exceptionally delicious, and 2) easily accessible. It's hard to get to the Pig's Burger when you want one, and while there is often a wait at Morgan's, it's usually short and always worth it.
ReplyDeleteWould like to know how the poll ended.
ReplyDeleteHaven't eaten at any of these, but as we're going to Florida next month, this would be a good starting point.
You've gotta try Teak Neighborhood Grill in Metrowest. The Brazilian Burger is amazing! I hear they have an insane burger challenge too. I plan to try it soon!
ReplyDeleteTeak Neighborhood Grill does have an insane burger menu! This is a little hidden gem in Metrowest! Check out their website for the menu and pictures of the burgers www.teakorlando.com They have been around for a year now and should definatley be in the running for "Orlando's Best Burger"!!
