Put down the peanuts and dinner rolls and grab these two new appetizers at Logan's Roadhouse

I'm a fan of Logan's Roadhouse. Sure, the steaks are great, but I've always loved the experience of eating at Logan's more: munching on peanuts at the table, tossing the shells on the floor, and the carb-enduced coma from their butter-drenched yeast rolls. It used to be so much fun knowing someone else had to sweep those shells up, but with the cathartic shell-tossing experience gone (thank you trial lawyers), there's only the dinner rolls. Thank God there's still the dinner rolls.

Well, there are now two new reasons for me to visit Logan's: Brisket Nachos and Pork Fries. I was asked to come in and sample the new appetizers, and I've never been known to turn down an offer to eat free food.

The Brisket Nachos ($9.99) are huge. A big pile of tortilla chips are covered with chopped beef brisket, white queso, red chili sauce, Logan's pico and chopped cilantro. This appetizer can easily appetize a party of four - make sure you come extra hungry or make sure you bring three friends.

The Pork Fries ($7.99) are crispy, hand-breaded, fried, and served with "Roadhouse" ranch sauce. What we've got here is basically a big bowl of pork tenders, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Stop by any Orlando area Logan's Roadhouse to try the new appetizers, chomp some peanuts and endulge in a dinner roll or two. Make it three or four.

I dined compliments of Logan's Roadhouse in Sanford. There are seven locations in the Orlando area.
